These days I am awake in the night much more often than I ever used to be. One of the perks of this fact is that I get to see the stars and the moon a lot. They can be beautiful some nights. And at about 4 a.m., the moon is sitting right outside my window if it's not a cloudy night.
This year we had the winter solstice lunar eclipse that was very cool to see. On our anniversary, March 19, we also had a super perigee moon--the largest in about 20 years. Byron couldn't sleep and took a number or really nice photographs that night. Here are a few of the moon over our house that night.
